2 Kings 13:21
Hebrew Text— 2 Kings 13:21As they were burying a man, behold, they saw a band of raiders; and they threw the man into Elisha’s tomb. As soon as the man touched Elisha’s bones, he revived, and stood up on his feet.

Many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.
Again he said to me, “Prophesy over these bones, and tell them, ‘You dry bones, hear Yahweh’s word.
they will take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it will in no way hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
Therefore prophesy, and tell them, ‘The Lord Yahweh says: “Behold, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, my people; and I will bring you into the land of Israel.
I will ransom them from the power of Sheol. I will redeem them from death! Death, where are your plagues? Sheol, where is your destruction? “Compassion will be hidden from my eyes.
Behold, a woman who had a discharge of blood for twelve years came behind him, and touched the fringe of his garment;
Therefore he says, “Awake, you who sleep, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.”
Therefore, even as the Holy Spirit says, “Today if you will hear his voice,
He has swallowed up death forever! The Lord Yahweh will wipe away tears from off all faces. He will take the reproach of his people away from off all the earth, for Yahweh has spoken it.
“ ‘ “When I passed by you, and saw you wallowing in your blood, I said to you, ‘Though you are in your blood, live!’ Yes, I said to you, ‘Though you are in your blood, live!’
So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up on their feet, an exceedingly great army.
and they begged him that they might just touch the fringe of his garment. As many as touched it were made whole.
But Jesus said, “Someone did touch me, for I perceived that power has gone out of me.”
But the hour comes, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father seeks such to be his worshipers.
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.
and the cloth that had been on his head, not lying with the linen cloths, but rolled up in a place by itself.
in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we will be changed.
“Yahweh kills and makes alive. He brings down to Sheol and brings up.
All the rich ones of the earth shall eat and worship. All those who go down to the dust shall bow before him, even he who can’t keep his soul alive.
For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence.
“Son of man, I have made you a watchman to the house of Israel. Therefore hear the word from my mouth, and warn them from me.
“Listen to this, you priests! Listen, house of Israel, and give ear, house of the king! For the judgment is against you; for you have been a snare at Mizpah, and a net spread on Tabor.
After two days he will revive us. On the third day he will raise us up, and we will live before him.
He touched her hand, and the fever left her. She got up and served him.
But Jesus answered them, “You are mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures, nor the power of God.
The tombs were opened, and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised;
For he had healed many, so that as many as had diseases pressed on him that they might touch him.
Immediately Jesus, perceiving in himself that the power had gone out from him, turned around in the crowd, and asked, “Who touched my clothes?”
for this, my son, was dead, and is alive again. He was lost, and is found.’ Then they began to celebrate.
Don’t marvel at this, for the hour comes in which all who are in the tombs will hear his voice,
even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved—
“And to the angel of the assembly in Sardis write: “He who has the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars says these things: “I know your works, that you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead.
Yahweh God formed man from the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
Then he said to Gehazi, “Tuck your cloak into your belt, take my staff in your hand, and go your way. If you meet any man, don’t greet him; and if anyone greets you, don’t answer him again. Then lay my staff on the child’s face.”
As he was telling the king how he had restored to life him who was dead, behold, the woman, whose son he had restored to life, begged the king for her house and for her land. Gehazi said, “My lord, O king, this is the woman, and this is her son, whom Elisha restored to life.”
As for me, I shall see your face in righteousness. I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with seeing your form.
You, who have shown us many and bitter troubles, you will let me live. You will bring us up again from the depths of the earth.
I have set watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem. They will never be silent day nor night. You who call on Yahweh, take no rest,
You will see it, and your heart shall rejoice, and your bones will flourish like the tender grass. Yahweh’s hand will be known among his servants; and he will have indignation against his enemies.
It will happen, that every living creature which swarms, in every place where the rivers come, will live. Then there will be a very great multitude of fish; for these waters have come there, and the waters of the sea will be healed, and everything will live wherever the river comes.
I will be like the dew to Israel. He will blossom like the lily, and send down his roots like Lebanon.
Behold, they brought to him a man who was paralyzed, lying on a bed. Jesus, seeing their faith, said to the paralytic, “Son, cheer up! Your sins are forgiven you.”
for she said within herself, “If I just touch his garment, I will be made well.”
He came to Bethsaida. They brought a blind man to him, and begged him to touch him.
These signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new languages;
On one of those days, he was teaching; and there were Pharisees and teachers of the law sitting by, who had come out of every village of Galilee, Judea, and Jerusalem. The power of the Lord was with him to heal them.
All the multitude sought to touch him, for power came out of him and healed them all.
He came near and touched the coffin, and the bearers stood still. He said, “Young man, I tell you, arise!”
Martha said to him, “I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.”
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will still live, even if he dies.
So they took Jesus’ body, and bound it in linen cloths with the spices, as the custom of the Jews is to bury.
For as yet they didn’t know the Scripture, that he must rise from the dead.
As it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations.” This is in the presence of him whom he believed: God, who gives life to the dead, and calls the things that are not, as though they were.
You were made alive when you were dead in transgressions and sins,
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus.
“To the angel of the assembly in Thyatira write: “The Son of God, who has his eyes like a flame of fire, and his feet are like burnished brass, says these things:
The sea gave up the dead who were in it. Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them. They were judged, each one according to his works.
Yahweh listened to the voice of Elijah; and the soul of the child came into him again, and he revived.
Yahweh said to him, ‘How?’ He said, ‘I will go out and will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets.’ He said, ‘You will entice him, and will also prevail. Go out and do so.’
Then he returned, and walked in the house once back and forth; and went up, and stretched himself out on him. Then the child sneezed seven times, and the child opened his eyes.
Then went he down, and dipped himself seven times in the Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God; and his flesh was restored like the flesh of a little child, and he was clean.
Now Elisha had spoken to the woman whose son he had restored to life, saying, “Arise, and go, you and your household, and stay for a while wherever you can; for Yahweh has called for a famine. It will also come on the land for seven years.”
My strength is dried up like a potsherd. My tongue sticks to the roof of my mouth. You have brought me into the dust of death.
Your dead shall live. My dead bodies shall arise. Awake and sing, you who dwell in the dust; for your dew is like the dew of herbs, and the earth will cast out the departed spirits.
A prophet watches over Ephraim with my God. A fowler’s snare is on all of his paths, and hostility in the house of his God.
having heard the things concerning Jesus, came up behind him in the crowd, and touched his clothes.
Wherever he entered, into villages, or into cities, or into the country, they laid the sick in the marketplaces, and begged him that they might just touch the fringe of his garment; and as many as touched him were made well.
He who was dead sat up, and began to speak. And he gave him to his mother.
Her spirit returned, and she rose up immediately. He commanded that something be given to her to eat.
Most certainly I tell you, the hour comes, and now is, when the dead will hear the Son of God’s voice; and those who hear will live.
When he had said this, he cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out!”
He who was dead came out, bound hand and foot with wrappings, and his face was wrapped around with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Free him, and let him go.”
They even carried out the sick into the streets, and laid them on cots and mattresses, so that as Peter came by, at the least his shadow might overshadow some of them.
Peter sent them all out, and knelt down and prayed. Turning to the body, he said, “Tabitha, get up!” She opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter, she sat up.
so that even handkerchiefs or aprons were carried away from his body to the sick, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out.
But now Christ has been raised from the dead. He became the first fruits of those who are asleep.
that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, becoming conformed to his death,
After the three and a half days, the breath of life from God entered into them, and they stood on their feet. Great fear fell on those who saw them.
