Acts 13:43
Greek Text— Acts 13:43Now when the synagogue broke up, many of the Jews and of the devout proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas; who, speaking to them, urged them to continue in the grace of God.

Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life.
Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the Lord’s work, because you know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
All things have been delivered to me by my Father. No one knows the Son, except the Father; neither does anyone know the Father, except the Son, and he to whom the Son desires to reveal him.
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
Watch! Stand firm in the faith! Be courageous! Be strong!
I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have trouble; but cheer up! I have overcome the world.”
Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.
Blessed is the man who doesn’t walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand on the path of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scoffers;
Remain in me, and I in you. As the branch can’t bear fruit by itself unless it remains in the vine, so neither can you, unless you remain in me.
For through him we both have our access in one Spirit to the Father.
Beware, brothers, lest perhaps there might be in any one of you an evil heart of unbelief, in falling away from the living God;
For we have become partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence firm to the end,
lest there should be among you man, woman, family, or tribe whose heart turns away today from Yahweh our God, to go to serve the gods of those nations; lest there should be among you a root that produces bitter poison;
Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me.
preaching God’s Kingdom, and teaching the things concerning the Lord Jesus Christ with all boldness, without hindrance.
I don’t reject the grace of God. For if righteousness is through the law, then Christ died for nothing!”
In him we have boldness and access in confidence through our faith in him.
that no one would be moved by these afflictions. For you know that we are appointed to this task.
But I exhort you, brothers, endure the word of exhortation; for I have written to you in few words.
Wherein you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved in various trials,
Withstand him steadfast in your faith, knowing that your brothers who are in the world are undergoing the same sufferings.
This Good News of the Kingdom will be preached in the whole world for a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.
From his fullness we all received grace upon grace.
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. You will be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth.”
For he was a good man, and full of the Holy Spirit and of faith, and many people were added to the Lord.
Therefore I urge you, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service.
Now I declare to you, brothers, the Good News which I preached to you, which also you received, in which you also stand,
Examine your own selves, whether you are in the faith. Test your own selves. Or don’t you know about your own selves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you are disqualified.
Behold, I, Paul, tell you that if you receive circumcision, Christ will profit you nothing.
that we may no longer be children, tossed back and forth and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in craftiness, after the wiles of error;
Without controversy, the mystery of godliness is great: God was revealed in the flesh, justified in the spirit, seen by angels, preached among the nations, believed on in the world, and received up in glory.
God also testifying with them, both by signs and wonders, by various works of power and by gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to his own will?
Let’s fear therefore, lest perhaps anyone of you should seem to have come short of a promise of entering into his rest.
But may the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a little while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.
I John, your brother and partner with you in the oppression, Kingdom, and perseverance in Christ Jesus, was on the isle that is called Patmos because of God’s Word and the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all.
The wicked flee when no one pursues; but the righteous are as bold as a lion.
Then he opened their minds, that they might understand the Scriptures.
For the law was given through Moses. Grace and truth were realized through Jesus Christ.
“Most certainly I tell you, he who hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life, and doesn’t come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.
Now there were dwelling in Jerusalem Jews, devout men, from every nation under the sky.
who, when he had come, and had seen the grace of God, was glad. He exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they should remain near to the Lord.
They took hold of him and brought him to the Areopagus, saying, “May we know what this new teaching is, which you are speaking about?
Now, brothers, I entrust you to God and to the word of his grace, which is able to build up, and to give you the inheritance among all those who are sanctified.
Because by the works of the law, no flesh will be justified in his sight; for through the law comes the knowledge of sin.
and if children, then heirs: heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with him, that we may also be glorified with him.
But I say, didn’t they hear? Yes, most certainly, “Their sound went out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world.”
for God’s Kingdom is not eating and drinking, but righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.
Don’t be deceived! “Evil companionships corrupt good morals.”
For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, by me, Silvanus, and Timothy, was not “Yes and no,” but in him is “Yes.”
As many as walk by this rule, peace and mercy be on them, and on God’s Israel.
that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, to the end that you, being rooted and grounded in love,
but Christ is faithful as a Son over his house. We are his house, if we hold fast our confidence and the glorying of our hope firm to the end.
Therefore he is also able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, seeing that he lives forever to make intercession for them.
It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
But the righteous will live by faith. If he shrinks back, my soul has no pleasure in him.”
Because Christ also suffered for sins once, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring you to God, being put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the Spirit,
and some save, snatching them out of the fire with fear, hating even the clothing stained by the flesh.
Therefore select from among you, brothers, seven men of good report, full of the Holy Spirit and of wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business.
Many of them therefore believed; also of the prominent Greek women, and not a few men.
He departed there, and went into the house of a certain man named Justus, one who worshiped God, whose house was next door to the synagogue.
On the next day, we who were Paul’s companions departed, and came to Caesarea. We entered into the house of Philip the evangelist, who was one of the seven, and stayed with him.
For we are God’s fellow workers. You are God’s farming, God’s building.
Let’s not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up.
As therefore you received Christ Jesus, the Lord, walk in him,
For thus you will be richly supplied with the entrance into the eternal Kingdom of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
These words pleased the whole multitude. They chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Spirit, Philip, Prochorus, Nicanor, Timon, Parmenas, and Nicolaus, a proselyte of Antioch;
Brothers, children of the stock of Abraham, and those among you who fear God, the word of this salvation is sent out to you.
strengthening the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that through many afflictions we must enter into God’s Kingdom.
and one male goat for a sin offering; in addition to the continual burnt offering, its meal offering, and its drink offering.
Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you travel around by sea and land to make one proselyte; and when he becomes one, you make him twice as much a son of Gehenna as yourselves.
Jesus therefore said to those Jews who had believed him, “If you remain in my word, then you are truly my disciples.
Phrygia, Pamphylia, Egypt, the parts of Libya around Cyrene, visitors from Rome, both Jews and proselytes,
But the Jews stirred up the devout and prominent women and the chief men of the city, and stirred up a persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and threw them out of their borders.
In Iconium, they entered together into the synagogue of the Jews, and so spoke that a great multitude both of Jews and of Greeks believed.
Therefore they stayed there a long time, speaking boldly in the Lord, who testified to the word of his grace, granting signs and wonders to be done by their hands.
A certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, one who worshiped God, heard us. The Lord opened her heart to listen to the things which were spoken by Paul.
Some of them were persuaded and joined Paul and Silas, of the devout Greeks a great multitude, and not a few of the chief women.
So he reasoned in the synagogue with the Jews and the devout persons, and in the marketplace every day with those who met him.
But certain men joined with him and believed, among whom also was Dionysius the Areopagite, and a woman named Damaris, and others with them.
When they had appointed him a day, many people came to him at his lodging. He explained to them, testifying about God’s Kingdom, and persuading them concerning Jesus, both from the law of Moses and from the prophets, from morning until evening.
being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus;
through whom we also have our access by faith into this grace in which we stand. We rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work.
Knowing therefore the fear of the Lord, we persuade men, but we are revealed to God, and I hope that we are revealed also in your consciences.
Working together, we entreat also that you do not receive the grace of God in vain,
Stand firm therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and don’t be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.
You are alienated from Christ, you who desire to be justified by the law. You have fallen away from grace.
for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,
Nevertheless, to the extent that we have already attained, let’s walk by the same rule. Let’s be of the same mind.
Therefore, my brothers, beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, stand firm in the Lord in this way, my beloved.
if it is so that you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and not moved away from the hope of the Good News which you heard, which is being proclaimed in all creation under heaven, of which I, Paul, was made a servant.
We proclaim him, admonishing every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus;
For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men,
looking carefully lest there be any man who falls short of the grace of God, lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and many be defiled by it,
Don’t be carried away by various and strange teachings, for it is good that the heart be established by grace, not by food, through which those who were so occupied were not benefited.
But he who looks into the perfect law of freedom and continues, not being a hearer who forgets, but a doer of the work, this man will be blessed in what he does.
Through Silvanus, our faithful brother, as I consider him, I have written to you briefly, exhorting, and testifying that this is the true grace of God in which you stand.
Now, little children, remain in him, that when he appears, we may have boldness, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.
Whoever transgresses and doesn’t remain in the teaching of Christ, doesn’t have God. He who remains in the teaching has both the Father and the Son.
