to Titus, my true child according to a common faith: Grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Savior.
Blessed are those who have been persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.
Servants, in the same way, must be reverent, not double-tongued, not addicted to much wine, not greedy for money,
Fight the good fight of faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called, and you confessed the good confession in the sight of many witnesses.
But some Jews from Antioch and Iconium came there, and having persuaded the multitudes, they stoned Paul, and dragged him out of the city, supposing that he was dead.
to all who are in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Only, as the Lord has distributed to each man, as God has called each, so let him walk. So I command in all the assemblies.
but the goal of this command is love, out of a pure heart and a good conscience and sincere faith,
From infancy, you have known the holy Scriptures which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith, which is in Christ Jesus.
Yahweh, truly I am your servant. I am your servant, the son of your servant girl. You have freed me from my chains.
But Saul increased more in strength, and confounded the Jews who lived at Damascus, proving that this is the Christ.
But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with jealousy, and contradicted the things which were spoken by Paul, and blasphemed.
they became aware of it and fled to the cities of Lycaonia, Lystra, Derbe, and the surrounding region.
After some days Paul said to Barnabas, “Let’s return now and visit our brothers in every city in which we proclaimed the word of the Lord, to see how they are doing.”
and from there to Philippi, which is a city of Macedonia, the foremost of the district, a Roman colony. We were staying some days in this city.
Now when they had passed through Amphipolis and Apollonia, they came to Thessalonica, where there was a Jewish synagogue.
explaining and demonstrating that the Christ had to suffer and rise again from the dead, and saying, “This Jesus, whom I proclaim to you, is the Christ.”
The brothers immediately sent Paul and Silas away by night to Beroea. When they arrived, they went into the Jewish synagogue.
Then the brothers immediately sent out Paul to go as far as to the sea, and Silas and Timothy still stayed there.
But those who escorted Paul brought him as far as Athens. Receiving a commandment to Silas and Timothy that they should come to him very quickly, they departed.
But when Silas and Timothy came down from Macedonia, Paul was compelled by the Spirit, testifying to the Jews that Jesus was the Christ.
for he powerfully refuted the Jews, publicly showing by the Scriptures that Jesus was the Christ.
Having sent into Macedonia two of those who served him, Timothy and Erastus, he himself stayed in Asia for a while.
These accompanied him as far as Asia: Sopater of Beroea; Aristarchus and Secundus of the Thessalonians; Gaius of Derbe; Timothy; and Tychicus and Trophimus of Asia.
Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, set apart for the Good News of God,
Greet Andronicus and Junia, my relatives and my fellow prisoners, who are notable among the apostles, who were also in Christ before me.
Timothy, my fellow worker, greets you, as do Lucius, Jason, and Sosipater, my relatives.
Because of this I have sent Timothy to you, who is my beloved and faithful child in the Lord, who will remind you of my ways which are in Christ, even as I teach everywhere in every assembly.
Now I praise you, brothers, that you remember me in all things, and hold firm the traditions, even as I delivered them to you.
for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds,
Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus through the will of God, to the saints who are at Ephesus, and the faithful in Christ Jesus:
But you know the proof of him, that as a child serves a father, so he served with me in furtherance of the Good News.
and sent Timothy, our brother and God’s servant in the Good News of Christ, to establish you, and to comfort you concerning your faith,
to Timothy, my true child in faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God our Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.
If you instruct the brothers of these things, you will be a good servant of Christ Jesus, nourished in the words of the faith, and of the good doctrine which you have followed.

to Timothy, my beloved child: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.
having been reminded of the sincere faith that is in you, which lived first in your grandmother Lois, and your mother Eunice, and, I am persuaded, in you also.
The things which you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit the same things to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also.
You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Christ Jesus.
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
Through Silvanus, our faithful brother, as I consider him, I have written to you briefly, exhorting, and testifying that this is the true grace of God in which you stand.
Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all.
Turn to me, and have mercy on me! Give your strength to your servant. Save the son of your servant.
Therefore I am full of Yahweh’s wrath. I am weary with holding it in. “Pour it out on the children in the street, and on the assembly of young men together; for even the husband with the wife will be taken, the aged with him who is full of days.
If I say, I will not make mention of him, or speak any more in his name, then there is in my heart as it were a burning fire shut up in my bones. I am weary with holding it in. I can’t.
So the Spirit lifted me up, and took me away; and I went in bitterness, in the heat of my spirit; and Yahweh’s hand was strong on me.
But when they persecute you in this city, flee into the next, for most certainly I tell you, you will not have gone through the cities of Israel until the Son of Man has come.
Now in the assembly that was at Antioch there were some prophets and teachers: Barnabas, Simeon who was called Niger, Lucius of Cyrene, Manaen the foster brother of Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.
A vision appeared to Paul in the night. There was a man of Macedonia standing, begging him, and saying, “Come over into Macedonia and help us.”
But the unpersuaded Jews took along some wicked men from the marketplace, and gathering a crowd, set the city in an uproar. Assaulting the house of Jason, they sought to bring them out to the people.
testifying both to Jews and to Greeks repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus.
Take heed, therefore, to yourselves, and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the assembly of the Lord and God which he purchased with his own blood.
I know, and am persuaded in the Lord Jesus, that nothing is unclean of itself; except that to him who considers anything to be unclean, to him it is unclean.
I myself am also persuaded about you, my brothers, that you yourselves are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish others.
Gaius, my host and host of the whole assembly, greets you. Erastus, the treasurer of the city, greets you, as does Quartus, the brother.
for God is not a God of confusion, but of peace, as in all the assemblies of the saints.
Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I commanded the assemblies of Galatia, you do likewise.
For the love of Christ constrains us; because we judge thus, that one died for all, therefore all died.
in pureness, in knowledge, in perseverance, in kindness, in the Holy Spirit, in sincere love,
But I hope in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy to you soon, that I also may be cheered up when I know how you are doing.

Paul, Silvanus, and Timothy, to the assembly of the Thessalonians in God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ:
comfort your hearts and establish you in every good work and word.
Don’t neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the elders.
Timothy, guard that which is committed to you, turning away from the empty chatter and oppositions of what is falsely called knowledge,
Erastus remained at Corinth, but I left Trophimus at Miletus sick.
For the overseer must be blameless, as God’s steward, not self-pleasing, not easily angered, not given to wine, not violent, not greedy for dishonest gain;
Paul, a prisoner of Christ Jesus, and Timothy our brother, to Philemon, our beloved fellow worker,
But, beloved, we are persuaded of better things for you, and things that accompany salvation, even though we speak like this.
Paul and Timothy, servants of Jesus Christ; To all the saints in Christ Jesus who are at Philippi, with the overseers and servants:
But I am hard pressed between the two, having the desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better.
Paul, Silvanus, and Timothy, to the assembly of the Thessalonians in God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
I commit this instruction to you, my child Timothy, according to the prophecies which were given to you before, that by them you may wage the good warfare,
Know that our brother Timothy has been freed, with whom, if he comes shortly, I will see you.
For they have taken of their daughters for themselves and for their sons, so that the holy offspring have mixed themselves with the peoples of the lands. Yes, the hand of the princes and rulers has been chief in this trespass.”
Now there were certain Greeks among those that went up to worship at the feast.
In Iconium, they entered together into the synagogue of the Jews, and so spoke that a great multitude both of Jews and of Greeks believed.
But as the disciples stood around him, he rose up, and entered into the city. On the next day he went out with Barnabas to Derbe.
When they had preached the Good News to that city, and had made many disciples, they returned to Lystra, Iconium, and Antioch,
For the unbelieving husband is sanctified in the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified in the husband. Otherwise your children would be unclean, but now they are holy.
Now if Timothy comes, see that he is with you without fear, for he does the work of the Lord, as I also do.
Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus through the will of God, and Timothy our brother, to the assembly of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints who are in the whole of Achaia:
For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, by me, Silvanus, and Timothy, was not “Yes and no,” but in him is “Yes.”
But when Timothy came just now to us from you, and brought us glad news of your faith and love, and that you have good memories of us always, longing to see us, even as we also long to see you,
persecutions, and sufferings: those things that happened to me at Antioch, Iconium, and Lystra. I endured those persecutions. The Lord delivered me out of them all.
