He said, “What have they seen in your house?” Hezekiah answered, “They have seen all that is in my house. There is nothing among my treasures that I have not shown them.”
If I have sinned, what do I do to you, you watcher of men? Why have you set me as a mark for you, so that I am a burden to myself?

As for the deeds of men, by the word of your lips, I have kept myself from the ways of the violent.
For I will declare my iniquity. I will be sorry for my sin.

But they do all their works to be seen by men. They make their phylacteries broad, enlarge the fringes of their garments,

For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
