Hebrew Text— Daniel 2:15He answered Arioch the king’s captain, “Why is the decree so urgent from the king?” Then Arioch made the thing known to Daniel.

Satan entered into Judas, who was also called Iscariot, who was counted with the twelve.
Jesus answered them, “Didn’t I choose you, the twelve, and one of you is a devil?”
During supper, the devil having already put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, to betray him,
The Egyptians were urgent with the people, to send them out of the land in haste, for they said, “We are all dead men.”
A righteous person is delivered out of trouble, and the wicked takes his place.
The wicked is a ransom for the righteous, the treacherous for the upright.
and they may recover themselves out of the devil’s snare, having been taken captive by him to his will.
Don’t be afraid of the things which you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested; and you will have oppression for ten days. Be faithful to death, and I will give you the crown of life.
He went and found his body thrown on the path, and the donkey and the lion standing by the body. The lion had not eaten the body, nor mauled the donkey.
At noon, Elijah mocked them, and said, “Cry aloud; for he is a god. Either he is deep in thought, or he has gone somewhere, or he is on a journey, or perhaps he sleeps and must be awakened.”
Elijah answered to the captain of fifty, “If I am a man of God, then let fire come down from the sky, and consume you and your fifty!” Then fire came down from the sky, and consumed him and his fifty.
Set a wicked man over him. Let an adversary stand at his right hand.
for their feet run to evil. They hurry to shed blood.
This is an evil in all that is done under the sun, that there is one event to all: yes also, the heart of the sons of men is full of evil, and madness is in their heart while they live, and after that they go to the dead.
The prince of the eunuchs gave names to them: to Daniel he gave the name Belteshazzar; to Hananiah, Shadrach; to Mishael, Meshach; and to Azariah, Abednego.
Therefore because the king’s commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceedingly hot, the flame of the fire killed those men who took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.
The king commanded, and they brought those men who had accused Daniel, and they cast them into the den of lions, them, their children, and their wives; and the lions mauled them, and broke all their bones in pieces, before they came to the bottom of the den.
Then he says, ‘I will return into my house from which I came out,’ and when he has come back, he finds it empty, swept, and put in order.
Then he goes, and takes with himself seven other spirits more evil than he is, and they enter in and dwell there. The last state of that man becomes worse than the first. Even so will it be also to this evil generation.”
Then Judas, who betrayed him, when he saw that Jesus was condemned, felt remorse, and brought back the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders,
He threw down the pieces of silver in the sanctuary, and departed. He went away and hanged himself.
She came in immediately with haste to the king, and asked, “I want you to give me right now the head of John the Baptizer on a platter.”
After the piece of bread, then Satan entered into him. Then Jesus said to him, “What you do, do quickly.”
But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back part of the price of the land?
When Herod had sought for him, and didn’t find him, he examined the guards, then commanded that they should be put to death. He went down from Judea to Caesarea, and stayed there.
in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the children of disobedience.
to take part in this ministry and apostleship from which Judas fell away, that he might go to his own place.”
