Hebrew Text— Exodus 25:19Make one cherub at the one end, and one cherub at the other end. You shall make the cherubim on its two ends of one piece with the mercy seat.

He lays the beams of his rooms in the waters. He makes the clouds his chariot. He walks on the wings of the wind.
So he drove out the man; and he placed cherubim at the east of the garden of Eden, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to guard the way to the tree of life.

Aren’t they all serving spirits, sent out to do service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation?
