May it never be! We who died to sin, how could we live in it any longer?
If you died with Christ from the elements of the world, why, as though living in the world, do you subject yourselves to ordinances,
I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. That life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me.
You may charge a foreigner interest; but you shall not your brother interest, that Yahweh your God may bless you in all that you put your hand to, in the land where you go in to possess it.
You shall make the fiftieth year holy, and proclaim liberty throughout the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a jubilee to you; and each of you shall return to his own property, and each of you shall return to his family.
For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.
However what does the Scripture say? “Throw out the servant and her son, for the son of the servant will not inherit with the son of the free woman.”
Therefore she said to Abraham, “Cast out this servant and her son! For the son of this servant will not be heir with my son, Isaac.”
For as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, even so the Son also gives life to whom he desires.
For if while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we will be saved by his life.
and to make all men see what is the administration of the mystery which for ages has been hidden in God, who created all things through Jesus Christ,
They went out from us, but they didn’t belong to us; for if they had belonged to us, they would have continued with us. But they left, that they might be revealed that none of them belong to us.
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. To him who overcomes, to him I will give of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written, which no one knows but he who receives it.
Therefore he called that place Beersheba, because they both swore an oath there.
Sarah, my master’s wife, bore a son to my master when she was old. He has given all that he has to him.
The friendship of Yahweh is with those who fear him. He will show them his covenant.
For in the day of trouble, he will keep me secretly in his pavilion. In the secret place of his tabernacle, he will hide me. He will lift me up on a rock.
Yahweh will command his loving kindness in the daytime. In the night his song shall be with me: a prayer to the God of my life.
For whoever finds me, finds life, and will obtain favor from Yahweh.
At that time, Jesus answered, “I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you hid these things from the wise and understanding, and revealed them to infants.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never thirst again; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.”
“Most certainly I tell you, he who hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life, and doesn’t come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.
For what does the Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.”
God didn’t reject his people, which he foreknew. Or don’t you know what the Scripture says about Elijah? How he pleads with God against Israel:
For the love of Christ constrains us; because we judge thus, that one died for all, therefore all died.
The Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the Good News beforehand to Abraham, saying, “In you all the nations will be blessed.”
But the Scripture imprisoned all things under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.
Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, “The Spirit who lives in us yearns jealously”?
and the Living one. I was dead, and behold, I am alive forever and ever. Amen. I have the keys of Death and of Hades.
Yahweh’s angel found her by a fountain of water in the wilderness, by the fountain on the way to Shur.
But I will establish my covenant with Isaac, whom Sarah will bear to you at this set time next year.”
Abraham said, “Because I thought, ‘Surely the fear of God is not in this place. They will kill me for my wife’s sake.’
Abraham rose up early in the morning, and took bread and a container of water, and gave it to Hagar, putting it on her shoulder; and gave her the child, and sent her away. She departed, and wandered in the wilderness of Beersheba.
Abraham planted a tamarisk tree in Beersheba, and called there on the name of Yahweh, the Everlasting God.
Abraham rose early in the morning, and saddled his donkey; and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son. He split the wood for the burnt offering, and rose up, and went to the place of which God had told him.
So Abraham returned to his young men, and they rose up and went together to Beersheba. Abraham lived at Beersheba.
They ate and drank, he and the men who were with him, and stayed all night. They rose up in the morning, and he said, “Send me away to my master.”
but Abraham gave gifts to the sons of Abraham’s concubines. While he still lived, he sent them away from Isaac his son, eastward, to the east country.
They lived from Havilah to Shur that is before Egypt, as you go toward Assyria. He lived opposite all his relatives.
This is the history of the generations of Isaac, Abraham’s son. Abraham became the father of Isaac.
They rose up some time in the morning, and swore an oath to one another. Isaac sent them away, and they departed from him in peace.
He called it “Shibah”. Therefore the name of the city is “Beersheba” to this day.
She gave him Bilhah her servant as wife, and Jacob went in to her.
A certain man found him, and behold, he was wandering in the field. The man asked him, “What are you looking for?”
Israel traveled with all that he had, and came to Beersheba, and offered sacrifices to the God of his father, Isaac.
“If you lend money to any of my people with you who is poor, you shall not be to him as a creditor. You shall not charge him interest.
“The garment also that the plague of leprosy is in, whether it is a woolen garment, or a linen garment;
Of a foreigner you may require it; but whatever of yours is with your brother, your hand shall release.
But she had brought them up to the roof, and hidden them under the stalks of flax which she had laid in order on the roof.

Gilead’s wife bore him sons. When his wife’s sons grew up, they drove Jephthah out and said to him, “You will not inherit in our father’s house, for you are the son of another woman.”
When he saw that, he arose, and ran for his life, and came to Beersheba, which belongs to Judah, and left his servant there.
You are my hiding place. You will preserve me from trouble. You will surround me with songs of deliverance.
They conspire with cunning against your people. They plot against your cherished ones.
They wandered in the wilderness in a desert way. They found no city to live in.
I will hurry, and not delay, to obey your commandments.
Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work, nor plan, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in Sheol, where you are going.
For the fields of Heshbon languish with the vine of Sibmah. The lords of the nations have broken down its choice branches, which reached even to Jazer, which wandered into the wilderness. Its shoots were spread abroad. They passed over the sea.
No eye pitied you, to do any of these things to you, to have compassion on you; but you were cast out in the open field, because you were abhorred in the day that you were born.
But if he gives of his inheritance a gift to one of his servants, it shall be his to the year of liberty; then it shall return to the prince; but as for his inheritance, it shall be for his sons.
Take that which is yours, and go your way. It is my desire to give to this last just as much as to you.
Then the king said to the servants, ‘Bind him hand and foot, take him away, and throw him into the outer darkness. That is where the weeping and grinding of teeth will be.’
“He said to him, ‘Son, you are always with me, and all that is mine is yours.
Yet a little while, and the world will see me no more; but you will see me. Because I live, you will live also.
who are Israelites; whose is the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the service, and the promises;
For the Scripture says to Pharaoh, “For this very purpose I caused you to be raised up, that I might show in you my power, and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.”
I ask then, did God reject his people? May it never be! For I also am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.
“Or who has first given to him, and it will be repaid to him again?”
For I, through the law, died to the law, that I might live to God.
For if the inheritance is of the law, it is no more of promise; but God has granted it to Abraham by promise.
For it is written that Abraham had two sons, one by the servant, and one by the free woman.
So then, as we have opportunity, let’s do what is good toward all men, and especially toward those who are of the household of the faith.
For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.
to an incorruptible and undefiled inheritance that doesn’t fade away, reserved in Heaven for you,
He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness. You were healed by his wounds.
but in the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God.
He who believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself. He who doesn’t believe God has made him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has given concerning his Son.
The water in the container was spent, and she put the child under one of the shrubs.
Before he had finished speaking, behold, Rebekah came out, who was born to Bethuel the son of Milcah, the wife of Nahor, Abraham’s brother, with her pitcher on her shoulder.
as I was in my prime, when the friendship of God was in my tent,
in whom all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden.
See how great a love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God! For this cause the world doesn’t know us, because it didn’t know him.
