Hebrew Text— Joshua 19:8and all the villages that were around these cities to Baalath Beer, Ramah of the South. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families.

He called the name of that place Bethel, but the name of the city was Luz at the first.
From there they traveled to Beer; that is the well of which Yahweh said to Moses, “Gather the people together, and I will give them water.”
Jattir with its pasture lands, Eshtemoa with its pasture lands,
