Hebrew Text— Judges 9:48Abimelech went up to Mount Zalmon, he and all the people who were with him; and Abimelech took an ax in his hand, and cut down a bough from the trees, and took it up, and laid it on his shoulder. Then he said to the people who were with him, “What you have seen me do, make haste, and do as I have done!”

When the Almighty scattered kings in her, it snowed on Zalmon.
The Lord is at your right hand. He will crush kings in the day of his wrath.

So neither I, nor my brothers, nor my servants, nor the men of the guard who followed me, none of us took off our clothes. Everyone took his weapon to the water.
Yes, I also continued in the work of this wall. We didn’t buy any land. All my servants were gathered there to the work.
I put my brother Hanani, and Hananiah the governor of the fortress, in charge of Jerusalem; for he was a faithful man, and feared God above many.
Let God arise! Let his enemies be scattered! Let them who hate him also flee before him.

Remember your leaders, men who spoke to you the word of God, and considering the results of their conduct, imitate their faith.
not as lording it over those entrusted to you, but making yourselves examples to the flock.
