Greek Text— Mark 15:44Pilate marveled if he were already dead; and summoning the centurion, he asked him whether he had been dead long.
ὁ (ho) δὲ (de) Πιλᾶτος (Pilatos) ἐθαύμασεν (ethaumasen) εἰ (ei) ἤδη (ēdē) τέθνηκεν, (tethnēken) καὶ (kai) προσκαλεσάμενος (proskalesamenos) τὸν (ton) κεντυρίωνα (kenturiōna) ἐπηρώτησεν (epērōtēsen) αὐτὸν (auton) εἰ (ei) πάλαι (palai) ἀπέθανεν. (apethanen)
