Then the devil left him, and behold, angels came and served him.
Elisha prayed, and said, “Yahweh, please open his eyes, that he may see.” Yahweh opened the young man’s eyes; and he saw: and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire around Elisha.
Praise Yahweh, you angels of his, who are mighty in strength, who fulfill his word, obeying the voice of his word.
He answered, “Don’t be afraid; for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”
As a dog that returns to his vomit, so is a fool who repeats his folly.
A fiery stream issued and came out from before him. Thousands of thousands ministered to him. Ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him. The judgment was set. The books were opened.
Or do you think that I couldn’t ask my Father, and he would even now send me more than twelve legions of angels?
An angel from heaven appeared to him, strengthening him.
who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of his love,
For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.
Samuel did that which Yahweh spoke, and came to Bethlehem. The elders of the city came to meet him trembling, and said, “Do you come peaceably?”
For because you didn’t carry it at first, Yahweh our God broke out in anger against us, because we didn’t seek him according to the ordinance.”
Shall not his majesty make you afraid, and his dread fall on you?
“But when the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then he will sit on the throne of his glory.
He was there in the wilderness forty days tempted by Satan. He was with the wild animals; and the angels were serving him.
Jesus asked him, “What is your name?” He said, “Legion,” for many demons had entered into him.
Then he goes, and takes seven other spirits more evil than himself, and they enter in and dwell there. The last state of that man becomes worse than the first.”
I tell you, no, but unless you repent, you will all perish in the same way.
I know that you always listen to me, but because of the multitude standing around I said this, that they may believe that you sent me.”
Jesus answered, “My Kingdom is not of this world. If my Kingdom were of this world, then my servants would fight, that I wouldn’t be delivered to the Jews. But now my Kingdom is not from here.”
For concerning those who were once enlightened and tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Spirit,
The armies which are in heaven followed him on white horses, clothed in white, pure, fine linen.
The priest shall examine it. Behold, if its appearance is deeper than the skin, and its hair has turned white, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean. It is the plague of leprosy. It has broken out in the boil.
“But if you do at all go back, and hold fast to the remnant of these nations, even these who remain among you, and make marriages with them, and go in to them, and they to you;
David was afraid of God that day, saying, “How can I bring God’s ark home to me?”
Can his armies be counted? On whom does his light not arise?
There they were in great fear, for God is in the generation of the righteous.
He has redeemed my soul in peace from the battle that was against me, although there are many who oppose me.
The chariots of God are tens of thousands and thousands of thousands. The Lord is among them, from Sinai, into the sanctuary.
The report about him went out into all Syria. They brought to him all who were sick, afflicted with various diseases and torments, possessed with demons, epileptics, and paralytics; and he healed them.
Behold, they cried out, saying, “What do we have to do with you, Jesus, Son of God? Have you come here to torment us before the time?”
When the demon was cast out, the mute man spoke. The multitudes marveled, saying, “Nothing like this has ever been seen in Israel!”
But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, “This man does not cast out demons, except by Beelzebul, the prince of the demons.”
Or how can one enter into the house of the strong man, and plunder his goods, unless he first bind the strong man? Then he will plunder his house.
The men of Nineveh will stand up in the judgment with this generation, and will condemn it, for they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and behold, someone greater than Jonah is here.
Then he goes, and takes with himself seven other spirits more evil than he is, and they enter in and dwell there. The last state of that man becomes worse than the first. Even so will it be also to this evil generation.”
Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you travel around by sea and land to make one proselyte; and when he becomes one, you make him twice as much a son of Gehenna as yourselves.
You blind guides, who strain out a gnat, and swallow a camel!
Most certainly I tell you, this generation will not pass away, until all these things are accomplished.
because he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been torn apart by him, and the fetters broken in pieces. Nobody had the strength to tame him.
They came to Jesus, and saw him who had been possessed by demons sitting, clothed, and in his right mind, even him who had the legion; and they were afraid.
Those who saw it declared to them what happened to him who was possessed by demons, and about the pigs.
As he was entering into the boat, he who had been possessed by demons begged him that he might be with him.
He said to them, “This kind can come out by nothing, except by prayer and fasting.”
What therefore will the lord of the vineyard do? He will come and destroy the farmers, and will give the vineyard to others.
Now when he had risen early on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, from whom he had cast out seven demons.
and certain women who had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities: Mary who was called Magdalene, from whom seven demons had gone out;
When Jesus stepped ashore, a certain man out of the city who had demons for a long time met him. He wore no clothes, and didn’t live in a house, but in the tombs.
People went out to see what had happened. They came to Jesus and found the man from whom the demons had gone out, sitting at Jesus’ feet, clothed and in his right mind; and they were afraid.
Jesus answered, “Faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you and bear with you? Bring your son here.”
She had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus’ feet, and heard his word.
Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him, “Behold, you are made well. Sin no more, so that nothing worse happens to you.”
Whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?”
After the piece of bread, then Satan entered into him. Then Jesus said to him, “What you do, do quickly.”
The man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, overpowered them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.
Do you think this, O man who judges those who practice such things, and do the same, that you will escape the judgment of God?
For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.
forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles that they may be saved, to fill up their sins always. But wrath has come on them to the uttermost.
and to give relief to you who are afflicted with us, when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels in flaming fire,
that older men should be temperate, sensible, sober minded, sound in faith, in love, and in perseverance:
But we are not of those who shrink back to destruction, but of those who have faith to the saving of the soul.
About these also Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied, saying, “Behold, the Lord came with ten thousands of his holy ones,

Command therefore that the tomb be made secure until the third day, lest perhaps his disciples come at night and steal him away, and tell the people, ‘He is risen from the dead;’ and the last deception will be worse than the first.”
