Greek Text— Acts 18:15but if they are questions about words and names and your own law, look to it yourselves. For I don’t want to be a judge of these matters.”

For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are dying, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
But shun empty chatter, for it will go further in ungodliness,
The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness hasn’t overcome it.
the Spirit of truth, whom the world can’t receive; for it doesn’t see him and doesn’t know him. You know him, for he lives with you, and will be in you.
but we preach Christ crucified: a stumbling block to Jews, and foolishness to Greeks,
doing nothing through rivalry or through conceit, but in humility, each counting others better than himself;
But refuse profane and old wives’ fables. Exercise yourself toward godliness.
While he was sitting on the judgment seat, his wife sent to him, saying, “Have nothing to do with that righteous man, for I have suffered many things today in a dream because of him.”
because the mind of the flesh is hostile toward God; for it is not subject to God’s law, neither indeed can it be.
However that which is spiritual isn’t first, but that which is natural, then that which is spiritual.
not paying attention to Jewish fables and commandments of men who turn away from the truth.
As for you, the anointing which you received from him remains in you, and you don’t need for anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is no lie, and even as it taught you, you will remain in him.
These are those who cause divisions and are sensual, not having the Spirit.
for he put his life in his hand, and struck the Philistine, and Yahweh worked a great victory for all Israel. You saw it, and rejoiced. Why then will you sin against innocent blood, to kill David without a cause?”
He answered them, “To you it is given to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven, but it is not given to them.
For we have heard him say that this Jesus of Nazareth will destroy this place, and will change the customs which Moses delivered to us.”
He asked them to provide animals, that they might set Paul on one, and bring him safely to Felix the governor.
I found him to be accused about questions of their law, but not to be charged with anything worthy of death or of imprisonment.
but had certain questions against him about their own religion, and about one Jesus, who was dead, whom Paul affirmed to be alive.
When they had withdrawn, they spoke to one another, saying, “This man does nothing worthy of death or of bonds.”
Agrippa said to Festus, “This man might have been set free if he had not appealed to Caesar.”
But when the Jews spoke against it, I was constrained to appeal to Caesar, not that I had anything about which to accuse my nation.
not a new convert, lest being puffed up he fall into the same condemnation as the devil.
Remind them of these things, charging them in the sight of the Lord, that they don’t argue about words, to no profit, to the subverting of those who hear.
For we didn’t follow cunningly devised fables when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty.
You have an anointing from the Holy One, and you all have knowledge.
If a man has committed a sin worthy of death, and he is put to death, and you hang him on a tree,
I will wash my hands in innocence, so I will go about your altar, Yahweh,
In the shelter of your presence you will hide them from the plotting of man. You will keep them secretly in a dwelling away from the strife of tongues.
Then the princes and all the people said to the priests and to the prophets: “This man is not worthy of death; for he has spoken to us in the name of Yahweh our God.”
But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes’ and your ‘No’ be ‘No.’ Whatever is more than these is of the evil one.
He set another parable before them, saying, “The Kingdom of Heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field,
the field is the world; and the good seed, these are the children of the Kingdom; and the darnel weeds are the children of the evil one.
and as he sowed, some seed fell by the road, and the birds came and devoured it.
Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.
How can you believe, who receive glory from one another, and you don’t seek the glory that comes from the only God?
When therefore the chief priests and the officers saw him, they shouted, saying, “Crucify! Crucify!” Pilate said to them, “Take him yourselves, and crucify him, for I find no basis for a charge against him.”
So on the next day, when Agrippa and Bernice had come with great pomp, and they had entered into the place of hearing with the commanding officers and the principal men of the city, at the command of Festus, Paul was brought in.
But when I found that he had committed nothing worthy of death, and as he himself appealed to the emperor I determined to send him,
But we received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is from God, that we might know the things that were freely given to us by God.
We also speak these things, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches, but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual things.
It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body and there is also a spiritual body.
from which things some, having missed the mark, have turned away to vain talking,
desiring to be teachers of the law, though they understand neither what they say, nor about what they strongly affirm.
traitors, headstrong, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,
and will turn away their ears from the truth, and turn away to fables.
Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God’s chosen ones, and the knowledge of the truth which is according to godliness,
This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, sensual, and demonic.
But these, as unreasoning creatures, born natural animals to be taken and destroyed, speaking evil in matters about which they are ignorant, will in their destroying surely be destroyed,
The friendship of Yahweh is with those who fear him. He will show them his covenant.
A senseless man doesn’t know, neither does a fool understand this:
A scoffer seeks wisdom, and doesn’t find it, but knowledge comes easily to a discerning person.
Wisdom is too high for a fool. He doesn’t open his mouth in the gate.
“ ‘To whom are you thus like in glory and in greatness among the trees of Eden? Yet you will be brought down with the trees of Eden to the lower parts of the earth. You will lie in the middle of the uncircumcised, with those who are slain by the sword. “ ‘This is Pharaoh and all his multitude,’ says the Lord Yahweh.”
Jesus went about in all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the Good News of the Kingdom, and healing every disease and every sickness among the people.
But if your eye is evil, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is the darkness!
Blessed is he who finds no occasion for stumbling in me.”
But he turned, and said to Peter, “Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me, for you are not setting your mind on the things of God, but on the things of men.”
But they said, “Not during the feast, lest a riot occur among the people.”
Nicodemus said to him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?”
The woman said to him, “Sir, give me this water, so that I don’t get thirsty, neither come all the way here to draw.”
I know that you are Abraham’s offspring, yet you seek to kill me, because my word finds no place in you.
But though he had done so many signs before them, yet they didn’t believe in him,
Therefore when Paul and Barnabas had no small discord and discussion with them, they appointed Paul and Barnabas, and some others of them, to go up to Jerusalem to the apostles and elders about this question.
A certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, one who worshiped God, heard us. The Lord opened her heart to listen to the things which were spoken by Paul.
For if I have done wrong and have committed anything worthy of death, I don’t refuse to die; but if none of those things is true that they accuse me of, no one can give me up to them. I appeal to Caesar!”
Why is it judged incredible with you, if God does raise the dead?
he is conceited, knowing nothing, but obsessed with arguments, disputes, and word battles, from which come envy, strife, insulting, evil suspicions,
But you, man of God, flee these things, and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness.
Timothy, guard that which is committed to you, turning away from the empty chatter and oppositions of what is falsely called knowledge,
Therefore we ought to pay greater attention to the things that were heard, lest perhaps we drift away.
These are murmurers and complainers, walking after their lusts—and their mouth speaks proud things—showing respect of persons to gain advantage.
The king said to him, “Why do you speak any more of your matters? I say, you and Ziba divide the land.”
When anyone hears the word of the Kingdom, and doesn’t understand it, the evil one comes, and snatches away that which has been sown in his heart. This is what was sown by the roadside.
saying, “I have sinned in that I betrayed innocent blood.” But they said, “What is that to us? You see to it.”
So when Pilate saw that nothing was being gained, but rather that a disturbance was starting, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, “I am innocent of the blood of this righteous person. You see to it.”
Pilate therefore said to them, “Take him yourselves, and judge him according to your law.” Therefore the Jews said to him, “It is illegal for us to put anyone to death,”
saying, “This man persuades men to worship God contrary to the law.”
When the governor had beckoned to him to speak, Paul answered, “Because I know that you have been a judge of this nation for many years, I cheerfully make my defense,
especially because you are expert in all customs and questions which are among the Jews. Therefore I beg you to hear me patiently.
The king rose up with the governor, and Bernice, and those who sat with them.
Now the natural man doesn’t receive the things of God’s Spirit, for they are foolishness to him, and he can’t know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
and not to pay attention to myths and endless genealogies, which cause disputes, rather than God’s stewardship, which is in faith—
But refuse foolish and ignorant questionings, knowing that they generate strife.
but shun foolish questionings, genealogies, strife, and disputes about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.
