Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the Lord’s work, because you know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
but those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint.
For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.
Watch! Stand firm in the faith! Be courageous! Be strong!
“If anyone comes to me, and doesn’t disregard his own father, mother, wife, children, brothers, and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he can’t be my disciple.
Then Paul answered, “What are you doing, weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.”
Therefore don’t be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner; but endure hardship for the Good News according to the power of God,
For we have become partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence firm to the end,
Yes, and if I am poured out on the sacrifice and service of your faith, I rejoice, and rejoice with you all.
Give diligence to present yourself approved by God, a workman who doesn’t need to be ashamed, properly handling the Word of Truth.
If it happens, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace; and he will deliver us out of your hand, O king.
This Good News of the Kingdom will be preached in the whole world for a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.
even as those who from the beginning were eyewitnesses and servants of the word delivered them to us,
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. You will be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth.”
All these with one accord continued steadfastly in prayer and supplication, along with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers.
The word of God increased and the number of the disciples greatly multiplied in Jerusalem. A great company of the priests were obedient to the faith.
strengthening the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that through many afflictions we must enter into God’s Kingdom.
He said, ‘The God of our fathers has appointed you to know his will, and to see the Righteous One, and to hear a voice from his mouth.
Don’t you know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run like that, that you may win.
holding up the word of life, that I may have something to boast in the day of Christ, that I didn’t run in vain nor labor in vain.
I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.
Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, salutes you, always striving for you in his prayers, that you may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.
But you, brothers, don’t be weary in doing what is right.
Without controversy, the mystery of godliness is great: God was revealed in the flesh, justified in the spirit, seen by angels, preached among the nations, believed on in the world, and received up in glory.
Epaphras, my fellow prisoner in Christ Jesus, greets you,
“Go, gather together all the Jews who are present in Susa, and fast for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day. I and my maidens will also fast the same way. Then I will go in to the king, which is against the law; and if I perish, I perish.”
Now there were dwelling in Jerusalem Jews, devout men, from every nation under the sky.
When they had arrived, and had gathered the assembly together, they reported all the things that God had done with them, and that he had opened a door of faith to the nations.
He came to Derbe and Lystra: and behold, a certain disciple was there, named Timothy, the son of a Jewess who believed; but his father was a Greek.
brought them out, and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”
testifying both to Jews and to Greeks repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus.
On the next day, we who were Paul’s companions departed, and came to Caesarea. We entered into the house of Philip the evangelist, who was one of the seven, and stayed with him.
For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which will be revealed toward us.
But I say, didn’t they hear? Yes, most certainly, “Their sound went out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world.”
For I speak to you who are Gentiles. Since then as I am an apostle to Gentiles, I glorify my ministry;
For I will not dare to speak of any things except those which Christ worked through me, for the obedience of the Gentiles, by word and deed,

Paul, an apostle—not from men, nor through man, but through Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead—
and when they perceived the grace that was given to me, James and Cephas and John, those who were reputed to be pillars, gave to Barnabas and me the right hand of fellowship, that we should go to the Gentiles, and they to the circumcision.
Let’s not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up.
how that by revelation the mystery was made known to me, as I wrote before in few words,
He gave some to be apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, shepherds and teachers;
Yes most certainly, and I count all things to be a loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus, my Lord, for whom I suffered the loss of all things, and count them nothing but refuse, that I may gain Christ
having been reminded of the sincere faith that is in you, which lived first in your grandmother Lois, and your mother Eunice, and, I am persuaded, in you also.
You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Christ Jesus.
But you followed my teaching, conduct, purpose, faith, patience, love, steadfastness,
But the Lord stood by me and strengthened me, that through me the message might be fully proclaimed, and that all the Gentiles might hear. So I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.
but in his own time revealed his word in the message with which I was entrusted according to the commandment of God our Savior;
but Christ is faithful as a Son over his house. We are his house, if we hold fast our confidence and the glorying of our hope firm to the end.
For by one offering he has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.
But the righteous will live by faith. If he shrinks back, my soul has no pleasure in him.”
But the end of all things is near. Therefore be of sound mind, self-controlled, and sober in prayer.
He who is often rebuked and stiffens his neck will be destroyed suddenly, with no remedy.
He said to them, “Go into all the world, and preach the Good News to the whole creation.
But the Lord said to him, “Go your way, for he is my chosen vessel to bear my name before the nations and kings, and the children of Israel.
Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, set apart for the Good News of God,
For I say through the grace that was given me, to every man who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think reasonably, as God has apportioned to each person a measure of faith.
Now concerning virgins, I have no commandment from the Lord, but I give my judgment as one who has obtained mercy from the Lord to be trustworthy.
But by the grace of God I am what I am. His grace which was given to me was not futile, but I worked more than all of them; yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
who also made us sufficient as servants of a new covenant, not of the letter, but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
Therefore we don’t faint, but though our outward man is decaying, yet our inward man is renewed day by day.
It is doubtless not profitable for me to boast. For I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord.
Therefore I ask that you may not lose heart at my troubles for you, which are your glory.
that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, to the end that you, being rooted and grounded in love,
All my affairs will be made known to you by Tychicus, the beloved brother, faithful servant, and fellow bondservant in the Lord.
For this cause I also, when I couldn’t stand it any longer, sent that I might know your faith, for fear that by any means the tempter had tempted you, and our labor would have been in vain.
You have perseverance and have endured for my name’s sake, and have not grown weary.
Don’t be afraid of the things which you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested; and you will have oppression for ten days. Be faithful to death, and I will give you the crown of life.
He said to me, “Son of man, stand on your feet, and I will speak with you.”
He said to me, “Daniel, you greatly beloved man, understand the words that I speak to you, and stand upright; for I have been sent to you, now.” When he had spoken this word to me, I stood trembling.
and last of all, as to the child born at the wrong time, he appeared to me also.
who testified to God’s word and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, about everything that he saw.
For he was counted with us, and received his portion in this ministry.
to take part in this ministry and apostleship from which Judas fell away, that he might go to his own place.”
But we will continue steadfastly in prayer and in the ministry of the word.”
But rise up and enter into the city, then you will be told what you must do.”
But these things don’t count; nor do I hold my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to fully testify to the Good News of the grace of God.
When he had greeted them, he reported one by one the things which God had worked among the Gentiles through his ministry.
I said, ‘What shall I do, Lord?’ The Lord said to me, ‘Arise, and go into Damascus. There you will be told about all things which are appointed for you to do.’
The following night, the Lord stood by him and said, “Cheer up, Paul, for as you have testified about me at Jerusalem, so you must testify also at Rome.”
through whom we received grace and apostleship for obedience of faith among all the nations for his name’s sake;
that I should be a servant of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles, serving as a priest of the Good News of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be made acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.
Therefore seeing we have this ministry, even as we obtained mercy, we don’t faint.
But all things are of God, who reconciled us to himself through Jesus Christ, and gave to us the ministry of reconciliation;
For I didn’t receive it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came to me through revelation of Jesus Christ.
I went up by revelation, and I laid before them the Good News which I preach among the Gentiles, but privately before those who were respected, for fear that I might be running, or had run, in vain.
even as you learned of Epaphras our beloved fellow servant, who is a faithful servant of Christ on your behalf,
if it is so that you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and not moved away from the hope of the Good News which you heard, which is being proclaimed in all creation under heaven, of which I, Paul, was made a servant.
of which I was made a servant according to the stewardship of God which was given me toward you to fulfill the word of God,
and sent Timothy, our brother and God’s servant in the Good News of Christ, to establish you, and to comfort you concerning your faith,
I thank him who enabled me, Christ Jesus our Lord, because he counted me faithful, appointing me to service;
If you instruct the brothers of these things, you will be a good servant of Christ Jesus, nourished in the words of the faith, and of the good doctrine which you have followed.
But you be sober in all things, suffer hardship, do the work of an evangelist, and fulfill your ministry.
