Isaiah 22:21
Hebrew Text— Isaiah 22:21and I will clothe him with your robe, and strengthen him with your belt. I will commit your government into his hand; and he will be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to the house of Judah.

For who is God, except Yahweh? Who is a rock, besides our God,
Declare and present it. Yes, let them take counsel together. Who has shown this from ancient time? Who has declared it of old? Haven’t I, Yahweh? There is no other God besides me, a just God and a Savior. There is no one besides me.
Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is no other. I am God, and there is none like me.
Then the king made Daniel great, and gave him many great gifts, and made him rule over the whole province of Babylon, and to be chief governor over all the wise men of Babylon.

Whoever there is among you of all his people, may his God be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judah, and build the house of Yahweh, the God of Israel (he is God), which is in Jerusalem.
Now on the third day, Esther put on her royal clothing, and stood in the inner court of the king’s house, next to the king’s house. The king sat on his royal throne in the royal house, next to the entrance of the house.
Then Haman took the clothing and the horse, and arrayed Mordecai, and had him ride through the city square, and proclaimed before him, “Thus it shall be done to the man whom the king delights to honor!”
The king took off his ring, which he had taken from Haman, and gave it to Mordecai. Esther set Mordecai over the house of Haman.
Mordecai went out of the presence of the king in royal clothing of blue and white, and with a great crown of gold, and with a robe of fine linen and purple; and the city of Susa shouted and was glad.

He loosens the bond of kings. He binds their waist with a belt.
He pours contempt on princes, and loosens the belt of the strong.
He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all of his possessions,
By the blessing of the upright, the city is exalted, but it is overthrown by the mouth of the wicked.
No one shall be weary nor stumble among them; no one shall slumber nor sleep, neither shall the belt of their waist be untied, nor the strap of their sandals be broken,
Righteousness will be the belt of his waist, and faithfulness the belt of his waist.
Yahweh of Armies has planned it, to stain the pride of all glory, to bring into contempt all the honorable of the earth.
As he was worshiping in the house of Nisroch his god, Adrammelech and Sharezer his sons struck him with the sword; and they escaped into the land of Ararat. Esar Haddon his son reigned in his place.
This is what Yahweh, the King of Israel, and his Redeemer, Yahweh of Armies, says: “I am the first, and I am the last; and besides me there is no God.
Yahweh says to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have held, to subdue nations before him, and strip kings of their armor; to open the doors before him, and the gates shall not be shut:
“Make the arrows sharp! Hold the shields firmly! Yahweh has stirred up the spirit of the kings of the Medes, because his purpose is against Babylon, to destroy it; for it is the vengeance of Yahweh, the vengeance of his temple.
dressed with belts on their waists, with flowing turbans on their heads, all of them looking like princes, after the likeness of the Babylonians in Chaldea, the land of their birth.
You will know that I am among Israel, and that I am Yahweh, your God, and there is no one else; and my people will never again be disappointed.
yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these.
But what did you go out to see? A man in soft clothing? Behold, those who wear soft clothing are in kings’ houses.
and said, “What are you willing to give me, that I should deliver him to you?” They weighed out for him thirty pieces of silver.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Jesus answered, “You would have no power at all against me, unless it were given to you from above. Therefore he who delivered me to you has greater sin.”
Then he said to the disciple, “Behold, your mother!” From that hour, the disciple took her to his own home.

Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might.
Stand therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness,
