in that day I swore to them, to bring them out of the land of Egypt into a land that I had searched out for them, flowing with milk and honey, which is the glory of all lands.
For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of Yahweh’s glory, as the waters cover the sea.

for you haven’t yet come to the rest and to the inheritance which Yahweh your God gives you.
“As God lives, who has taken away my right, the Almighty, who has made my soul bitter

Tell them, ‘The Lord Yahweh says: “In the day when I chose Israel, and swore to the offspring of the house of Jacob, and made myself known to them in the land of Egypt, when I swore to them, saying, ‘I am Yahweh your God;’
“ ‘ “But the house of Israel rebelled against me in the wilderness. They didn’t walk in my statutes, and they rejected my ordinances, which if a man keeps, he shall live in them. They greatly profaned my Sabbaths. Then I said I would pour out my wrath on them in the wilderness, to consume them.
Because they ministered to them before their idols, and became a stumbling block of iniquity to the house of Israel. Therefore I have lifted up my hand against them,” says the Lord Yahweh, “and they will bear their iniquity.
Out of one of them came out a little horn, which grew exceedingly great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the glorious land.

but in very deed—as I live, and as all the earth shall be filled with Yahweh’s glory—
because all those men who have seen my glory, and my signs, which I worked in Egypt and in the wilderness, yet have tempted me these ten times, and have not listened to my voice;
