Everyone who has left houses, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, will receive one hundred times, and will inherit eternal life.
Oh how great is your goodness, which you have laid up for those who fear you, which you have worked for those who take refuge in you, before the sons of men!
“If anyone comes to me, and doesn’t disregard his own father, mother, wife, children, brothers, and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he can’t be my disciple.
Whom do I have in heaven? There is no one on earth whom I desire besides you.
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them.
but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men.
even as the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me and I in him bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.
Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,
Yahweh’s blessing brings wealth, and he adds no trouble to it.
In all things I gave you an example, that so laboring you ought to help the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”
But as you abound in everything, in faith, utterance, knowledge, all earnestness, and in your love to us, see that you also abound in this grace.
Brothers, I don’t regard myself as yet having taken hold, but one thing I do: forgetting the things which are behind, and stretching forward to the things which are before,
Remember those who are in bonds, as bound with them, and those who are ill-treated, since you are also in the body.
Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house, and test me now in this,” says Yahweh of Armies, “if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there will not be room enough for.
But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the Lord’s work, because you know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
in beatings, in imprisonments, in riots, in labors, in watchings, in fastings;
Yes most certainly, and I count all things to be a loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus, my Lord, for whom I suffered the loss of all things, and count them nothing but refuse, that I may gain Christ
Let our people also learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that they may not be unfruitful.
Honor Yahweh with your substance, with the first fruits of all your increase:
One who gives to the poor has no lack; but one who closes his eyes will have many curses.
The silver is mine, and the gold is mine,’ says Yahweh of Armies.
This is eternal life, that they should know you, the only true God, and him whom you sent, Jesus Christ.
He who didn’t spare his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how would he not also with him freely give us all things?
And God is able to make all grace abound to you, that you, always having all sufficiency in everything, may abound to every good work.
In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.
and you pay special attention to him who wears the fine clothing and say, “Sit here in a good place;” and you tell the poor man, “Stand there,” or “Sit by my footstool”
seeing that his divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and virtue,
“I know your works, oppression, and your poverty (but you are rich), and the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews, and they are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.
For your servant vowed a vow while I stayed at Geshur in Syria, saying, ‘If Yahweh shall indeed bring me again to Jerusalem, then I will serve Yahweh.’ ”
All the days of the afflicted are wretched, but one who has a cheerful heart enjoys a continual feast.
But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing back; and your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High; for he is kind toward the unthankful and evil.
The Word became flesh, and lived among us. We saw his glory, such glory as of the one and only Son of the Father, full of grace and truth.
Therefore you now have sorrow, but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you.
But these things don’t count; nor do I hold my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to fully testify to the Good News of the grace of God.
how in much proof of affliction, the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded to the riches of their generosity.
Not only so, but he was also appointed by the assemblies to travel with us in this grace, which is served by us to the glory of the Lord himself, and to show our readiness.
in labor and travail, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, and in cold and nakedness.
that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, becoming conformed to his death,
I know how to be humbled, and I also know how to abound. In everything and in all things I have learned the secret both to be filled and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in need.
For you remember, brothers, our labor and travail; for working night and day, that we might not burden any of you, we preached to you the Good News of God.
Always rejoice.
neither did we eat bread from anyone’s hand without paying for it, but in labor and travail worked night and day, that we might not burden any of you,
that each person who belongs to God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
For you both had compassion on me in my chains, and joyfully accepted the plundering of your possessions, knowing that you have for yourselves a better possession and an enduring one in the heavens.
I am the God of Bethel, where you anointed a pillar, where you vowed a vow to me. Now arise, get out from this land, and return to the land of your birth.’ ”
Jethro, Moses’ father-in-law, received Zipporah, Moses’ wife, after he had sent her away,

Jephthah vowed a vow to Yahweh, and said, “If you will indeed deliver the children of Ammon into my hand,
She vowed a vow, and said, “Yahweh of Armies, if you will indeed look at the affliction of your servant and remember me, and not forget your servant, but will give to your servant a boy, then I will give him to Yahweh all the days of his life, and no razor shall come on his head.”
There is one who scatters, and increases yet more. There is one who withholds more than is appropriate, but gains poverty.
After the suffering of his soul, he will see the light and be satisfied. My righteous servant will justify many by the knowledge of himself; and he will bear their iniquities.
Then Peter answered, “Behold, we have left everything, and followed you. What then will we have?”
To him who strikes you on the cheek, offer also the other; and from him who takes away your cloak, don’t withhold your coat also.
In that day you will know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you.
for the words which you have given me I have given to them, and they received them, and knew for sure that I came from you. They have believed that you sent me.
They therefore departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer dishonor for Jesus’ name.
Now I don’t desire to have you unaware, brothers, that I often planned to come to you, and was hindered so far, that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among the rest of the Gentiles.
as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.
And being found in human form, he humbled himself, becoming obedient to the point of death, yes, the death of the cross.
However, I consider those things that were gain to me as a loss for Christ.
Rejoice in the Lord always! Again I will say, “Rejoice!”
But godliness with contentment is great gain.
But having food and clothing, we will be content with that.
For God is not unrighteous, so as to forget your work and the labor of love which you showed toward his name, in that you served the saints, and still do serve them.
Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations,
to an incorruptible and undefiled inheritance that doesn’t fade away, reserved in Heaven for you,
But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.
We know that the Son of God has come, and has given us an understanding, that we know him who is true, and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.
“ ‘You shall not steal. “ ‘You shall not lie. “ ‘You shall not deceive one another.
Amaziah said to the man of God, “But what shall we do for the hundred talents which I have given to the army of Israel?” The man of God answered, “Yahweh is able to give you much more than this.”
“My lord the king, these men have done evil in all that they have done to Jeremiah the prophet, whom they have cast into the dungeon. He is likely to die in the place where he is, because of the famine; for there is no more bread in the city.”
Soldiers also asked him, saying, “What about us? What must we do?” He said to them, “Extort from no one by violence, neither accuse anyone wrongfully. Be content with your wages.”
He lifted up his eyes to his disciples, and said, “Blessed are you who are poor, God’s Kingdom is yours.
When they had appointed elders for them in every assembly, and had prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord, on whom they had believed.
Therefore watch, remembering that for a period of three years I didn’t cease to admonish everyone night and day with tears.
and being fully assured that what he had promised, he was also able to perform.
For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which will be revealed toward us.
Don’t deprive one another, unless it is by consent for a season, that you may give yourselves to fasting and prayer, and may be together again, that Satan doesn’t tempt you because of your lack of self-control.
For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that you through his poverty might become rich.
Are they servants of Christ? (I speak as one beside himself.) I am more so: in labors more abundantly, in prisons more abundantly, in stripes above measure, and in deaths often.
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, God’s love, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.
Walk in love, even as Christ also loved us and gave himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling fragrance.
Not that I seek for the gift, but I seek for the fruit that increases to your account.
For we have become partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence firm to the end,
