Blessed is the man who doesn’t walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand on the path of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scoffers;
Don’t be deceived! “Evil companionships corrupt good morals.”
Leave your simple ways, and live. Walk in the way of understanding.”
All these with one accord continued steadfastly in prayer and supplication, along with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers.
On the first day of the week, when the disciples were gathered together to break bread, Paul talked with them, intending to depart on the next day, and continued his speech until midnight.
You can’t both drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons. You can’t both partake of the table of the Lord and of the table of demons.

Peter therefore was kept in the prison, but constant prayer was made by the assembly to God for him.
Elijah came near to all the people, and said, “How long will you waver between the two sides? If Yahweh is God, follow him; but if Baal, then follow him.” The people didn’t say a word.
We took sweet fellowship together. We walked in God’s house with company.
You count my wanderings. You put my tears into your container. Aren’t they in your book?
My eyes will be on the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me. He who walks in a perfect way, he will serve me.
You will have a song, as in the night when a holy feast is kept, and gladness of heart, as when one goes with a flute to come to Yahweh’s mountain, to Israel’s Rock.
The prince shall go in with them when they go in. When they go out, he shall go out.
Peter had followed him from a distance, until he came into the court of the high priest. He was sitting with the officers, and warming himself in the light of the fire.
Barnabas and Saul returned to Jerusalem when they had fulfilled their service, also taking with them John who was called Mark.
Barnabas planned to take John, who was called Mark, with them also.
A certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, one who worshiped God, heard us. The Lord opened her heart to listen to the things which were spoken by Paul.
but declared first to them of Damascus, at Jerusalem, and throughout all the country of Judea, and also to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, doing works worthy of repentance.
Aristarchus, my fellow prisoner, greets you, and Mark, the cousin of Barnabas (concerning whom you received commandments, “if he comes to you, receive him”),
as do Mark, Aristarchus, Demas, and Luke, my fellow workers.
But we are not of those who shrink back to destruction, but of those who have faith to the saving of the soul.
that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us. Yes, and our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son, Jesus Christ.
I heard another voice from heaven, saying, “Come out of her, my people, that you have no participation in her sins, and that you don’t receive of her plagues,
Then Eliezer the son of Dodavahu of Mareshah prophesied against Jehoshaphat, saying, “Because you have joined yourself with Ahaziah, Yahweh has destroyed your works.” The ships were wrecked, so that they were not able to go to Tarshish.
For they have taken of their daughters for themselves and for their sons, so that the holy offspring have mixed themselves with the peoples of the lands. Yes, the hand of the princes and rulers has been chief in this trespass.”
“Now my soul is poured out within me. Days of affliction have taken hold of me.
Who goes in company with the workers of iniquity, and walks with wicked men?
Trust in him at all times, you people. Pour out your heart before him. God is a refuge for us.
rejoicing in his whole world. My delight was with the sons of men.
Stay away from a foolish man, for you won’t find knowledge on his lips.
“If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath, from doing your pleasure on my holy day; and call the Sabbath a delight, and the holy of Yahweh honorable; and honor it, not doing your own ways, nor finding your own pleasure, nor speaking your own words,
Judah has dealt treacherously, and an abomination is committed in Israel and in Jerusalem; for Judah has profaned the holiness of Yahweh which he loves, and has married the daughter of a foreign god.
But to you who fear my name shall the sun of righteousness arise with healing in its wings. You will go out, and leap like calves of the stall.
When they were at Salamis, they proclaimed God’s word in the Jewish synagogues. They also had John as their attendant.
Now Paul and his company set sail from Paphos, and came to Perga in Pamphylia. John departed from them and returned to Jerusalem.
Many of them therefore believed; also of the prominent Greek women, and not a few men.
to open their eyes, that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive remission of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in me.’
I wrote to you in my letter to have no company with sexual sinners;
The cup of blessing which we bless, isn’t it a sharing of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, isn’t it a sharing of the body of Christ?
Only Luke is with me. Take Mark, and bring him with you, for he is useful to me for service.
I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and they opened books. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged out of the things which were written in the books, according to their works.
When the captains of the chariots saw Jehoshaphat, they said, “Surely that is the king of Israel!” and they came over to fight against him. Jehoshaphat cried out.
He did that which was evil in Yahweh’s sight, as did Ahab’s house, for they were his counselors after the death of his father, to his destruction.
On that night, the king couldn’t sleep. He commanded the book of records of the chronicles to be brought, and they were read to the king.
I will answer you, and your companions with you.
As for the saints who are in the earth, they are the excellent ones in whom is all my delight.
I have not sat with deceitful men, neither will I go in with hypocrites.
I am a friend of all those who fear you, of those who observe your precepts.
Let those who fear you turn to me. They will know your statutes.
Depart from me, you evildoers, that I may keep the commandments of my God.
I was glad when they said to me, “Let’s go to Yahweh’s house!”
Your eyes saw my body. In your book they were all written, the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there were none of them.
to deliver you from the way of evil, from the men who speak perverse things,
Don’t enter into the path of the wicked. Don’t walk in the way of evil men.
Her house is the way to Sheol, going down to the rooms of death.
One who walks with wise men grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm.
Don’t be envious of evil men, neither desire to be with them;
A dishonest man detests the righteous, and the upright in their ways detest the wicked.
Who among you fears Yahweh and obeys the voice of his servant? He who walks in darkness and has no light, let him trust in Yahweh’s name, and rely on his God.
It will happen that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.
I listened and heard, but they didn’t say what is right. No one repents of his wickedness, saying, “What have I done?” Everyone turns to his course, as a horse that rushes headlong in the battle.
Jerusalem remembers in the days of her affliction and of her miseries all her pleasant things that were from the days of old; when her people fell into the hand of the adversary, and no one helped her. The adversaries saw her. They mocked at her desolations.
Yahweh said to him, “Go through the middle of the city, through the middle of Jerusalem, and set a mark on the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry over all the abominations that are done within it.”
because an excellent spirit, knowledge, understanding, interpreting of dreams, showing of dark sentences, and dissolving of doubts were found in the same Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar. Now let Daniel be called, and he will show the interpretation.”
Then those who feared Yahweh spoke one with another; and Yahweh listened, and heard, and a book of memory was written before him, for those who feared Yahweh, and who honored his name.
They shall be mine,” says Yahweh of Armies, “my own possession in the day that I make, and I will spare them, as a man spares his own son who serves him.
The world can’t hate you, but it hates me, because I testify about it, that its works are evil.
Now Simon Peter was standing and warming himself. They said therefore to him, “You aren’t also one of his disciples, are you?” He denied it and said, “I am not.”
He, fastening his eyes on him, and being frightened, said, “What is it, Lord?” He said to him, “Your prayers and your gifts to the needy have gone up for a memorial before God.
Now when the synagogue broke up, many of the Jews and of the devout proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas; who, speaking to them, urged them to continue in the grace of God.
But the Jews stirred up the devout and prominent women and the chief men of the city, and stirred up a persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and threw them out of their borders.
But the multitude of the city was divided. Part sided with the Jews, and part with the apostles.
Then it seemed good to the apostles and the elders, with the whole assembly, to choose men out of their company, and send them to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas: Judas called Barsabbas, and Silas, chief men among the brothers.
Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship do righteousness and iniquity have? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness?
that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without defect in the middle of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you are seen as lights in the world,
This saying is faithful, and concerning these things I desire that you affirm confidently, so that those who have believed God may be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable to men;
For God is not unrighteous, so as to forget your work and the labor of love which you showed toward his name, in that you served the saints, and still do serve them.
She who is in Babylon, chosen together with you, greets you. So does Mark, my son.
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanses us from all sin.
These things I remember, and pour out my soul within me, how I used to go with the crowd, and led them to God’s house, with the voice of joy and praise, a multitude keeping a holy day.
Now the servants and the officers were standing there, having made a fire of coals, for it was cold. They were warming themselves. Peter was with them, standing and warming himself.
They continued steadfastly in the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and prayer.
When Saul had come to Jerusalem, he tried to join himself to the disciples; but they were all afraid of him, not believing that he was a disciple.
Thinking about that, he came to the house of Mary, the mother of John who was called Mark, where many were gathered together and were praying.
They went out of the prison, and entered into Lydia’s house. When they had seen the brothers, they encouraged them, then departed.
Some of them were persuaded and joined Paul and Silas, of the devout Greeks a great multitude, and not a few of the chief women.
